Your Part To Play

As this is a once-a-week class, we encourage parents to actively engage with their children and support them with homework. Our course is designed to complement the Islamic education provided at home. Successful Islamic nurturing and development can only be achieved within a protective Islamic environment at home. Both your home and our school share the joint responsibility for your child's development.

Age Range

The Weekend Curriculum is designed for primary-age children. It is a prerequisite that all students have basic recognition of Arabic letters. An entrance test will be administered to determine the appropriate level for each student or to decide on their eligibility for enrollment prior to admission. In exceptional circumstances, younger students may be considered at the discretion of the class teachers.

Dress Code

Al Noor Academy does not enforce a mandatory uniform policy. However, we strongly remind all students to wear appropriate Islamic attire, as Islamic studies will be a significant part of their learning experience. We encourage modest and respectful clothing that reflects the values of our curriculum. For boys, this may include traditional attire such as thobes or long-sleeve shirts and pants. For girls, we recommend wearing hijabs, long dresses, or abayas.
